Based in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, Adam Cundick has been taking photographs
for over 25 years. In the early years he started out with a Zenith SLR, moving
onto a Pentax ME Super, and since 1992 he has used Canon cameras, progressing
from the Canon EOS 1000Fn to the Canon EOS 100. In June 2003, he decided that
Digital Photography was the way forward and invested in the Canon EOS 10D, and
he now operates a Canon EOS 1Ds MkII and Eos 40D. Both cameras are supported by
various lenses from zoom and telephoto (Canon 100-400mm f5.6L, Canon 70-200mm
f2.8L) to wide angle (Canon 28-105mm f3.5L, Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 EX DG Macro
Lens). For flash photography he uses a Canon 580Ex Speedlite.

Living close to the runway approaches for RAF Alconbury and RAF Wyton, Adam became interested in aircraft at an early age and although he never went to air shows until his late teens, he joined the local aviation engineering company Marshall Aerospace Ltd and his interest inevitably grew. Since 2005, he has been working closely alongside Marshall ’s Marketing Department to provide promotional images demonstrating the company’s engineering capabilities, and many of these have appeared in a range of marketing literature as well as industry publications. As well as capturing aircraft arriving and undergoing modifications, Adam is also responsible for taking portraits of senior Management/Directors, Royal and VIP visitors, through to new employees, and charity and anniversary events. |

This experience has enabled Adam to further his photographic knowledge and
enjoyment to which he now adds a keen interest in landscapes, animals and
architecture. More recently he has added the art of wedding photography to his
expanding portfolio, and through his professional experience he demonstrates
the ability to work to a creative brief as specified by the client or use his
own artistic initiative.
With an experienced eye for innovative composition, Adam is always on the
lookout for that unique angle or special shot. It is this enthusiasm that has
encouraged him to take more photographs of special events and capturing action
as it happens from a fast jet flying low through the valleys of North Wales to
the first kiss at a wedding.
